WorkSource Business Solutions

COMING SOON:

WorkSource Columbia Basin will be receiving incumbent worker training money.  This money will be spent on businesses that can identify employee training needs.  We expend these dollars with businesses with specific/unique training needs for their staff , as well as on training in group environments where numerous businesses send one or more of their employees.  At this time, we are asking that you please identify group trainings that you may be interested in sending one or more of your employees to.

Following are some examples of group types of training:

Lean Manufacturing
Lean Office
Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Office 2007 upgrade
Health Physics Technician
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic
First Line Supervisor Training
Phlebotomy
OSHA

Please feel free to list any other types of training that could be done in group form.  Send your feedback to Liz Scheibe at escheibe@esd.wa.gov.  Thank you for taking the time to respond.  When we hear more on the specifications of this money we will be contacting you again.  We look forward to hearing from you!
