The Mid-Columbia Ag Hall of Fame and the Pasco Chamber of Commerce recognize that youth programs are a way to introduce new and exciting farming and ranching options to youth, parents, and community members. The Cultivating Our Future Grant is an opportunity to help support the sustainability of this important industry for future generations.

Grant Parameters

The following will be the criteria for selection of grant recipients:

  • The program supports opportunities for youth (High school and younger) education to research, demonstrate, and learn more about agriculture.
  • Cultivating our Future grants are competitive grants for educators and entities to provide programming on engaging youth in agriculture.
  • Funding for up to $5,000.
  • The annual portfolio of Cultivating our Future grant proposal is reviewed and awarded on an annual timeline beginning May 2024.
  • Cultivating our Future Grant will be open to any organization that’s focus is to educate and engage local youth in agriculture.
